No. It is a subscription that allows you to access a number of services or discounts in different health, wellness and lifestyle areas. It can be a useful addition to a traditional insurance plan.

Yes. There are no annual limits to the subscription. Services and discounts are available to use as you need them.

You can access the benefits either through the New Benefits mobile app, which you can download through Google Play or Apple Store, or through the MemberPortal.NewBenefits.com member portal. Note: You will use the member portal for your initial registration, and then you can access your benefits through either the app or the portal going forward.

Yes. New Benefits has a member call center open Monday-Saturday each week if you need help beyond the information you find in the app or on the member portal.

Your membership is effective upon receipt of membership materials. 

This program is NOT insurance coverage and does not meet the minimum creditable coverage requirements under the Affordable Care Act or Massachusetts M.G.L. c. 111M and 956 CMR 5.00.

This program contains a 30-day cancellation period.

Member shall receive a reimbursement of all periodic membership fees if membership is cancelled within the first 30 days after the effective date. This program provides discounts at certain healthcare providers for medical services. This program does not make payments directly to the providers of medical services. The program member is obligated to pay for all healthcare services but will receive a discount from those healthcare providers who have contracted with the discount plan organization.
